In recent AD versions, when checking VIA property an item is new "IPC 4761 Via Type", I was wondering what does it mean? how this affect design? Also very curious to know how this will be reported to the manufacturer? Does VIA type selection affect the design, covering, or filling? Does it show up in the GEBER files, somehow?
I used to add a comment in the cover letter to specify the VIA type.
