PCB Layout Power pins connections

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the Power pins connections on layout. As you can see in the attached image I am using a poor to increase the section of the copper around each power pin. Now since I am using this I guess I can delete the previous made tracks where are connected to the pad reference point. So instead of the implementation on the first image I can go with the one presented on the second one.

Yes, you can do that, but you do not have to.
PS: Just be sure you do not delete too much, so the tracks are still connected well to the polygons.
