EasyEDA - Warning after running DRC

ZenPylon , 04-25-2024, 01:38 PM
Hi Robert, I'm currently following along on your EasyEDA tutorial, and I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm currently on the "Schematic check" section, and I'm getting a warning in the output:

> Component attributes does not match the Supplier Part, It is recommended to use Device Standardization: J1($1I445),J2($1I559),R2($1I759),R3($1I796),C1($1I907),C2($1I941),LED1($1I1038),R1($1I1138),C3($1I1268)

Nothing really turned up on Google for this warning, so I figured I'd ask here if you have any idea what might be the issue? I've attached a screenshot of my schematic so far.

Thank you!

Can you also show the parameters or attributes of (at least) one of the components?
ZenPylon , 04-25-2024, 04:00 PM
For sure -- does this display what you're looking for?
QDrives , 04-25-2024, 04:08 PM
What if you change the name from "={Value}" to something like "Res 0805 5.1k"?
ZenPylon , 04-25-2024, 04:40 PM
Hmm, no luck with that particular name. I also played around with a few of the different name options using the built-in strings like {Device} {Footprint} , but I'm still getting the error for the component that I modified
Robert Feranec , 04-26-2024, 11:20 AM
ah, you modified a component? I do not modify the parameters normally ... I guess, you would like to probably place modified components into your own library?
ZenPylon , 04-26-2024, 01:11 PM
I didn't modify any parameters as far as I'm aware! I suppose I could have accidentally modified one, but I don't think I would have modified all of the components that are listed in the warning...would it be worth posting a question on the EasyEDA forums?
Robert Feranec , 04-26-2024, 02:19 PM
I would try to save the project and reload the page, maybe that could help?
ZenPylon , 04-26-2024, 02:24 PM
No luck with a refresh, but I found the side panel "Device Standardization", and looks like I can suppress the warning for these components. I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not, but it does make the warning go away 😅
ZenPylon , 04-26-2024, 02:25 PM
It's strange that the supplier number is shown, and the supplier is LCSC, but it still has an option to assign the LCSC part
Robert Feranec , 04-26-2024, 06:01 PM
Thanks for letting me know
Krupal_Viraṇi , 01-25-2025, 10:42 AM
so what was the final work around ?
Robert Feranec , 01-25-2025, 05:11 PM
for now I just ignore it
