Hey Community how are you I would appreciate it if you take some of your time and read this. My name is Yohannes Temesgen and I am from a small country Ethiopia which is in East Africa, and I am also experienced in PCB design and I have worked as a freelancer mostly in Upwork and for a local company called AddisTech and also for an international company called Ideeza, but the thing is opportunities are very rare in this kind of 3rd world countries especially for fields of hardware design and even if we get jobs the income is barely enough to survive and tbh I don't want to give up on my craft I want to have a successful career doing what I am passionate about. I am reaching out to you if there is any kind of remote opportunities in PCB design around you or with people in your network where I can work on and prove myself and use my skills to contribute on a project and to also help me see a clear future with the skills I have, I am experienced from compact 2 layer to multilayer mixed signal designs and I also have experience in both KiCad and Altium. Thank you for your time! Best regards Yohannes Temesgen

**Remote Work Preparation** Develop capabilities valued in distributed teams:- Design review collaboration tools- Version control for hardware projects- Virtual manufacturing coordinationThe community emphasizes continuous learning through real projects ([career path discussion](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_MNw4EWer0&t=5000)). Consider documenting your design process publicly to demonstrate both technical and communication skills. While we don't have direct job leads, these technical differentiators could help you stand out in global opportunities. Many companies value remote PCB design skills when combined with strong manufacturing awareness. You can continue chatting with the AI Assistant here:https://fedevel.com/hw-assistant
