Can I duplicate PCB doc in the same project in Altium?

Hi,I’ve designed a 4-layer PCB in Altium and it’s designed well, but now I want to make some changes to the layer stack and routing. Before I do that, I’d like to preserve the current version for reference. So my question is:Should I copy the entire project and work on that, or is there a way to duplicate just the PCB document within the same project so I can make changes separately and both pcb doc files will be in the same project? Thanks in advance!

There is a big difference in "*preserve the current version*" and "*make changes separately*".My advise is to always make a backup copy (Project / Project Packager) when you 'release'. That way you can always go back to that version without it being accidentally changed. As for the possibility to have multiple PCB in a project - yes, that is possible.Another solution is to store each (release) version of the project in a separate folder. This allows you to browse it in Altium too.

I would just create a new directory (you can name it as a new version), copy the whole project there and continue from there.

In additional to Robert's comment, have a version numbering scheme.I use a letter for the PCB (layout), a number for the components (BoM) and another number for documentation (changes).New directory generally is only needed for a new PCB layout.
