JLC PCB manufacturing Rules

PMICnewbie , 03-06-2025, 11:01 PM
what is the meaning of Rigid Vs Flex, I take it for a personal 4layer PCB project I would be choosing economical PCBA which is the standard rigid one?
https://jlcpcb.com/capabilities/pcb-assembly-capabilities
**__Also can anyone share the link for JLC PCB rules (DRC etc)__** and any other pointers of what to take care of when using JLC as the manufacture for 3-4 PCBs?
If someone can walk me through the above link. There are too many thicknesses and features and im lost
Should I use the drilling and traces section only?
@Robert Feranec
What do I fill the Allegro constraint manager from JLC

What you need for PCB manufacturing are the capabilities

I talk about setting up rules for example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWIzhbQaZZk&t=15238s

Rigid is the solid PCB (e.g. usually green), Flex is the bending PCB (usually e.g. yellow / brown)
